Personal Computers Take the World by Storm

In 1982, Time named the personal computer its “Man” of the Year in recognition of how it had changed the way people communicated. New technology such as computers, Internet, and email, promoted collaboration and transformed clinical research by giving people the means to share information easier and faster than ever before.

Despite this, clinical research has yet to take full advantage of the latest technology available.
