The University of Leicester’s Clinical Trials Unit (CTU) has recently signed a contract for the installation of MACRO v4.1, the latest release of InferMed’s electronic data capture (EDC) solution. With the unit having been awarded provisional registration as one of the new UKCRC (UK Clinical Research Collaboration)-approved clinical trials units, InferMed is very pleased to welcome the Leicester CTU as a new user of the MACRO application.

Of the 48 UKCRC-registered clinical trials units (CTUs) in the UK, nearly one-third have chosen to adopt MACRO to provide an appropriately validated system for running CTIMPs (Clinical Trials of an Investigational Medicinal Product).
