AAHRPP Accredits First Organizations in Europe

The Association for the Accreditation of Human Research Protection Programs (AAHRPP) announced that it has accredited six more research organizations, including its first two in Europe. Both are in Belgium.
Earning AAHRPP accreditation means the organizations have demonstrated they have extensive safeguards in every level of research operation and adhere to high standards for research.
The newly accredited organizations are:
- Children’s Mercy Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri
- Cliniques Universitaires de Bruxelles- Hôpital Erasme, Brussels, Belgium
- Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc, Brussels, Belgium
- Renal Research Institute, LLC, New York, New York
- Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Lubbock, Texas
- The Third Xiangya Hospital of Central South University, Changsha, Hunan Province, China
