ACM Global Central Lab announced it has acquired Phoenix Pharma Central Services (S) Pte. Ltd (Phoenix PCS), a central laboratory services provider for clinical trials in the Asia-Pacific region, by adding two clinical trial laboratory locations in Singapore and Shanghai, China. The addition of these laboratories, comes on the heels of last year’s expansion and relocation of its ACM York facilities.

Semaglutide Significantly Improves Steatohepatitis, Fibrosis in Phase III MASH Trial
May 2nd 2025Interim results from the Phase III ESSENCE trial published in The New England Journal of Medicine show once-weekly semaglutide improved liver histology, metabolic markers, and weight loss in patients with biopsy-confirmed metabolic dysfunction–associated steatohepatitis and stage 2 or 3 fibrosis.
