The Bristish Standards Institution (BSI) has joined the Alliance for Clinical Research Excellence and Safety (ACRES’) ongoing Site Accreditation and Standards Initiative (SASI). BSI, with a long history of publishing multi-industry standards (over 2,500 annually), including work on clinical research safety, intends to help develop and implement standards of excellence for clinical research sites and develop a process for “dynamic accreditation” of research sites that will promote, recognize and reward excellence.
