TrialScope, the global leader in clinical trial transparency and compliance solutions, today announced two executive appointments. Brian Flaherty will join the TrialScope team as Vice President of Business Development. Additionally, Thomas Wicks has been appointed to the position of Chief Strategy Officer (CSO). Brian Flaherty joins the TrialScope team with 19 years of sales experience including 10 years selling within the life sciences industry. Brian most recently held the position of Global Executive Director of Sales at Covance Clinical. In his new role, Brian will lead TrialScope’s sales efforts, including account management and new business development.
United BioSource Corp. (UBC), a subsidiary of Express Scripts, has appointed Don Gabriel, MD, PhD, an expert in targeted oncology treatments, to its Global Clinical Development & Operations team. Under the leadership of Sandra Lottes, PharmD, vice president of Global Clinical Development & Operations, Dr. Gabriel will direct UBC’s consultative services to pharmaceutical sponsors developing oncology therapies.

BioClinica®, Inc., a specialty clinical trials services and technology provider, today announced the opening of a Research Triangle Park (RTP) office in North Carolina in response to a rapidly expanding customer base of study sponsors and Clinical Research Organizations with whom it has strategic partnerships.
