: CRF Health, the electronic Patient Reported Outcomes (ePRO) solutions company, today announced the launch of its PDA Recycling Campaign in partnership with Greensource Solutions. This campaign offers CRF Health’s European customers an environmentally friendly way of disposing unwanted PDA devices while also raising money for charity.
The company collaborated with Greensource Solutions to support their ongoing recycling program, which accepts all brands of PDAs regardless of age and condition. This program promotes best practice with respect to recycling and sustainability. Where possible, the devices are sold to be directly reused or their parts recycled. Funds raised support various UK charities, such as Children’s Hospice South West, ORCA, St. Peter’s Hospice, and The World Development Movement.
Rachael King, Chief Executive Officer of CRF Health, said, “The United Nations estimates that up to 50 million tons of electronic waste is generated every year worldwide. Our PDA Recycling Campaign allows our customers and us to reduce electronic waste, protect the environment, and support charity. At CRF Health, we are committed to sustainable business practices as well as environmental protection. Through this partnership, we encourage our customers to dispose of unwanted PDAs in an environmentally responsible manner.”
Using freepost recycling bags, CRF Health customers can send individual PDAs to Greensource Solutions to be sold for reuse. For large bulk requests, collections can be arranged for anywhere in Europe. For more details on Greensource Solutions, visit
