CTTI Seeks Use of Mobile Technology in Clinical Trials
The Clinical Trials Transformation Initiative (CTTI) released a set of recommendations and tools that aim to change the use of mobile technology in clinical research by providing a path for using information collected from mobile technology to accelerate the development and evaluation of needed therapies.
A group of investigators, regulators, patient representatives, technology developers, and research sponsors partnered to write four use cases to guide the development and use of novel endpoints as part of clinical trials for Parkinson’s disease, heart failure, diabetes, and Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
