ACT: What kind of impact do you hope DIA and its conferences have within the clinical trials industry?
Pierce: DIA really strives to be a connector that brings the right stakeholders together to have conversations that aren't going to happen elsewhere or things. There are so many things that happen in a silo in this industry. We believe strongly that it's only through cooperation and collaboration, learning from mistakes of others, tapping into their successes and building on top of them. We believe that that's the only way this industry is going to continue to really accelerate at the rate that patients need it to accelerate, and we have to be willing to have those conversations. I think DIA is the hub for bringing those groups together. We provide this neutral platform, where everybody's voice is elevated, and everybody's voice is integrated into that conversation. I think that's just a an incredibly important element of advancing innovation, so that's really what we're striving to be at the middle of and make sure that we're the party that continues to be that integrator of knowledge.
