Enhancements Optimize Trial Management, Reduce Costs and Ease Investigative Site Burden

PHILADELPHIA– September 28, 2015 –– ERT, a leading global provider of high-quality patient safety and efficacy endpoint data collection, cloud analytics and workflow solutions today announced enhancements to MasterScope, its comprehensive platform for spirometry, ECG, and home monitoring, especially designed for both standardized and centralized clinical trials.

MasterScope delivers an all-in-one solution that meets and exceeds the data collection and processing needs of worldwide clinical trial sponsors and Clinical Research Organizations (CROs) in the development of medical treatments for respiratory conditions such as Asthma and COPD – and in non-respiratory areas such as oncology and CNS to collect pulmonary safety and disease progression endpoints.

 

The enhanced version of MasterScope introduces unique features that optimize data quality, trial management, reduce costs and shorten timelines for pharmaceutical sponsors and CROs while boosting investigative site satisfaction and efficiency. - Multi-protocol support minimizing equipment costs and logistics, speeding up trial initiation and also easing investigative site burden with fewer devices to set up, maintain and take up physical space at the site

--Wireless Local Area Network (Wi-Fi) and LAN connectivity with automatic, secure data transfers to optimize centralized overreads and device software updates, ensuring the latest protocol amendments are in use
