CRF Health, a global provider of patient-centered eSource technology and service solutions, will officially open their Romania office and welcome to the helm a new VP of Global Services, Adina Tapalaga.

CRF Health has also appointed Neil Conroy as VP of Business Transformation, and Daniella Mulder as VP of Client Relations to support the continuing growth of the business. Both are jumping on board with many years of experience hoping to expand the company’s client services.

InClinica, a global clinical CRO, announced that Roland Mahr has been appointed as Vice President and General Manager of Asia-Pacific. In this new role, he will oversee all aspects of the company’s Asia-Pacific operations.

Teckro, a global technology company, has named Dana Poff as Chief Operating Officer. Poff will be adding her 28 years of experience in clinical research services to their growing team.

BioPharma Global, a US-based biotech non-profit, announced that Sandra Heibel, MD, has joined the organization as Chief Science Officer. Dr. Heibel brings with her extensive knowledge of regulatory strategy and submissions, scientific writing, drug development research for rare diseases, and project management.

PPD, a global CRO, announced it has appointed Jonca Bull, MD, in a dual role as vice president of PPD Consulting, where she will serve as the head of regulatory consulting and as vice president, ophthalmology, within global product development.

Algorics, a provider of clinical analytics solutions and software for the global life sciences industry, announced the appointment of Malcolm Burgess, MD, to their Advisory Board. Dr. Burgess, with 40 years of experience, will help to guide the Algorics RBM strategy and work closely with the leadership team.

Bioclinica, a provider of medical imaging and eHealth solutions in clinical trials, celebrated the official opening of its new and larger Princeton, New Jersey facility.

Cytel Inc., a biometrics CRO and clinical trial software provider, announced further expansion in Europe with the addition of an office in Basel, Switzerland. With this new expansion providing, Cytel plans on growing its team as part of a business growth strategy.

Quanticate, a global data-focused CRO, is further expanding its service offering into India with the opening of a new office. This new opening will also be accompanied by a recruitment drive intended to add 60 new staff members to the team. 

SynteractHCR, a full-service global CRO, has moved to a new larger facility in Carlsbad, California. 



Almac Group, a contract development and manufacturing organization has won the Export Achievement award Ireland’s Pharma Industry Awards, which recognizes them for an effective export strategy allowing them to expand their business.

Elligo Health Research, a clinical research infrastructure provider, has received an FDA award to evaluate the use of harmonized data models to gather real-world data, which will aid in the safety assessment of new oncology therapies.

INC Research/inVentiv Health, a fully integrated biopharmaceutical solutions organization combining a CRO and CCO, announced that it was awarded the 2017 Society for Clinical Research Sites Eagle Award in the CRO category. This award represents leadership, professionalism, integrity, passion and dedication to advancing the clinical research profession.

LabConnect, a global provider of central laboratory and support, has been named to the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest growing companies in America for its 10th year.



Greenphire, a global company in clinical trial payment automation, sells a site payment called eClinicalGPS which has processed 700,000 payments thus keeping trials on track. Additionally, Greenphire’s ClinCard, a clinical trial reimbursement card, has been used by 10,000 sites to complete 5 million reimbursements to 900,000 patients.

Veeva Systems announced that their Veeva Vault Quality application is used by 120 life sciences, including 4 of the top 20 largest biopharma companies and 30 Veeva Vault QMS customers for content management in the cloud. In six months since Veeva Vault CTMS became available, Veeva has added nine Vault CTMS customers, with two already live and using the product.
