Medidata and ICON Partner on ePRO

Medidata, a global provider of cloud-based solutions for clinical research in life sciences, and ICON, a global provider of outsourced development services to the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries, announced a joint initiative designed to bring new efficiencies to the administration of electronic patient-reported outcomes (ePROs) in clinical trials. The initiative combines Medidata Patient Cloud™, an iOS device and cloud-based ePRO solution for patient-centric data capture with ICON’s ready-to-use, pre-validated patient input instruments.
