Mi-Co has been named a recipient of the 2013 Microsoft Life Sciences Innovation Award for its work in helping a Federal Organization go paperless in clinical trial data capture using Tablets, with its leading Mi-Forms mobile-forms software.
Mi-Co, the Mobile Information Corporation and a Microsoft Gold ISV partner, announced today that it has been named a recipient of the 2013 Microsoft Life Sciences Innovation Awards.
The awards, which were announced at the Drug Information Association’s (DIA) 49th annual meeting in Boston, honor companies that are using Microsoft solutions to realize business and information technology benefits. The 2013 winners are revolutionizing medicine by bringing therapeutic breakthroughs to the market faster, to fight serious ailments, improve healthcare and enhance patient's quality of life.

Mi-Co Customer, Infectious Disease Clinical Research Program (IDCRP), used Mi-Forms mobile-forms software and Windows-Tablets, to almost eliminate all paper case report forms for a multi-site clinical trial with offline capture requirements, and reduced queries by 100x, produced a 50% data-entry savings and increased coordinator satisfaction considerably. Mi-Forms is a Microsoft .NET-based platform, with SQL Server driving the Mi-Forms Server product, which is responsible for version control, workflow and user authentication.
