Signant Health Adds Computerized Adaptive Tests
PROMIS CATs use a dynamic approach that aims to measure concepts, such as fatigue or physical functioning, with fewer questions.
Signant Health announced its ability to deliver computerized adaptive tests (CATs) in clinical trials utilizing its Patient-Reported Outcome Measure Information System (PROMIS). Fully hosted by Signant Health, PROMIS CATs can be implemented and incorporated into its company’s eCOA solution alongside conventional PROMs. In contrast to PROMS, which typically use questionnaires containing a fixed number of questions, PROMIS CATs use a dynamic approach that aims to measure concepts, such as fatigue or physical functioning, with fewer questions while maintaining precision via statistical model.
