The Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) and CenterWatch released a collaborative benchmarking report on clinical research site performance as a result of the largest independent, unbiased survey of site leadership.
The data, available in two separate reports—one comparing smaller sites to average site metrics, and one comparing larger sites to average—is available at www.acrpnet.org/sitebenchmarking and http://store.centerwatch.com/p-433-2014-financial-and-operating-benchmark-reports.aspx
Highlights include:
- 23% of sites have taken no training action to prepare for Risk-Based Monitoring;
- 45% of sites are not planning for, or implementing, Risk-Based Monitoring; and
- 36% of sites plan to increase staff at the coordinator level in 2015.
