Oakland, Calif., Feb. 01, 2018 (Business Wire)-Trial By Fire Solutions, a leader in web-based clinical trial management solutions that improve planning, execution and tracking of clinical studies, has expanded its SimpleTrials product, the first on-demand, subscription-based clinical trial management system (CTMS).
Developed by clinical trial professionals with over 20 years of experience, SimpleTrials supports sponsors, sites and vendors. The CTMS allows users to manage calendars, milestones, documents, subjects and payments in a scalable feature set.
The new electronic visit report (eVR) feature adds an easy-to-use report authoring and approval workflow tool for clinical monitoring teams. A template builder is available at the portfolio level for multi-study use. These features save time and provide study teams insight into site activities.
Additional features include eVR attachments; integrated action items and subject deviations; alerts; and performance metrics and reports.
These improve site activity management by eliminating the need for document exchange via email. Users access real-time information and draft and approve content more efficiently. In addition, the eVR is fully integrated with SimpleTrials’ visit calendars and eTMF to provide a comprehensive, flexible solution.
“SimpleTrials is well designed and easy to use,” said Natalie Shrock, ARNP, CCRC, vice president/site director, Shrock Clinical Research. “We hit the ground running and received excellent support from the team. Their approach is exactly what we were looking for.”
Recently, site contract and payment features were added to SimpleTrials to handle common site invoicing workflows.
“SimpleTrials clients benefit from our years of CTMS experience with well-designed eVRs, site payments and other features that are available on a secure platform at an affordable subscription price,” said Nancy Cecchettini, Trial By Fire Solutions co-founder and chief product officer.
Premium, on-demand plans provide same-day access and include the eVR and site contracts and payments features.
