Quintiles Appoints New Executives
RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C., June 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Quintiles Transnational Corp. today named Millie Tan to Senior Vice President, Global Marketing and Chief Marketing Officer and David Coman to the position of Senior Vice President, Communications and Patient Recruitment.
"Both Dave and Millie bring a wealth of experience and impressive records of success in marketing and communication," said Mike Mortimer, Chief Administrative Officer. Millie joins Quintiles from Monster Worldwide, the global online employment solutions provider, monster.com . Most recently, she was Chief Marketing Officer of its European business, prior to which, she led core marketing in the US. Previously, Millie held increasingly senior positions in consumer marketing with Polaroid and Gillette, including overseas assignments in Hong Kong and Tokyo. She earned her bachelor's degree from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY, and her master's degree at Columbia University, followed by an MBA at Dartmouth College.
David joins Quintiles from Dendrite International where he was the VP of Global Marketing and led both Marketing and Corporate Communications. Previously, David held executive leadership positions in high-growth telecommunications companies where he initiated groundbreaking
direct-to-consumer strategies. He began his career with Young & Rubicam, a
market-leading global advertising agency. He earned his bachelor's degree at Michigan State and his MBA from Northwestern University.
