Event Overview:
As eSource and data interchange evolves in clinical trials, the most efficient, most optimal and most intuitive ways to collect data and maintain the high-rigor of data has yet to be achieved. However, the pandemic has certainly made forward motion in many areas of data quality, collection and sharing.
This webcast features presentations from two co-chairs of SCDM’s eSource Implementation Consortium who will share three recent case studies related to streamlined data collection, as well as insights into data sharing through HL7’s Vulcan initiative.
Key Learning Objectives:
- Understand the goals of remote monitoring, providing the foundation for success, and ability to scale up as needed.
- Using eConsent as an example, understand how eSource optimizes data collection absent of devices for patient or site personnel use.
- Understand how Direct-Data-Export (DDE) can improve the exchange of eSource data from sites to CROs and sponsors.
- Learn how HL7’s latest Vulcan project intends to collaborate on data exchange by building on HL7’s FHIR®.
