Agency.com, Alliance Healthcare Information, BBDO, Hall & Partners Healthcare, and Targetbase are sponsoring an upcoming conference, Can Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Marketers Learn From the Automobile Industry? Yes...here's why. The conference will be held on Friday, April 8, 2005, at the Hyatt Regency Princeton, Princeton, New Jersey.

The conference will introduce many new and incisive thoughts regarding how Pharmaceutical and Medical Device companies can learn from other industries' best practices as they relate to DTC, more targeted communications, and compliance. Topics covered will include:

  • The purchase process, as identified and defined by the automobile industry through extensive research, and an explanation of its resemblance to the pharmaceutical and medical device purchase process.
  • Building awareness and interest via pharmaceutical DTC advertising and how DTC's role parallels that of automotive national advertising.
  • How the healthcare industry can leverage proven direct and database marketing strategies that are being successfully deployed in the automobile industry today.
  • What common threads exist when building brands in the pharmaceutical and automotive spheres.

Upcoming/Add one

  • The comparable roles of cyberspace in the two equations.
  • How considered purchase service programs are similar to pharmaceutical compliance/adherence programs.
