ACRP Questions Arbitrary CRA Experience
ACRP believes the arbitrary two-years experience generally required throughout the industry is contributing to a shortage of CRAs and negatively impacting efficiencies and quality in clinical research.

After publishing a position paper on the CRA workforce this week, the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) has announced the formation of a multi-stakeholder task force charged with defining the core competencies required of entry-level clinical research associates (CRAs). ACRP believes the arbitrary two-years experience generally required throughout the industry is contributing to a shortage of CRAs and negatively impacting efficiencies and quality in clinical research.
