IAOCR and the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) are pleased to announce a new collaborative agreement.

IAOCR and the Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) are pleased to announce a new collaborative agreement. The agreement brings together two organizations with shared missions to positively impact clinical research through the establishment of recognised global standards of clinical research through competence-based accreditations.

The services provided by the two organizations, when combined, provide a wider and more in-depth provision of professional development services to the clinical research community. While the two organizations will continue to operate independently, a combined catalogue of services will be made available through each organization’s network, expanding both the depth of offerings and significantly increasing the global accessibility.

One of the first steps of the collaboration will be the provision of a joint training program to US trainers that will facilitate the delivery of IAOCR accreditation programs in the US market. Additionally IAOCR representatives will participate in the ACRP Global Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah in April 2015 and joint meetings and events are in development.

“We are extremely proud to be partnering with ACRP. Our missions and visions are well-aligned and both organizations place quality at the heart of all that we do. The range of expertise and services that each organization brings to the collaboration are highly complementary and we are already working with ACRP on a number of exciting initiatives that will positively impact the clinical research community globally.” Says IAOCR’s CEO, Jacqueline Johnson North .

ACRP’s Executive Director, Jim Thomasell says “ACRP and IAOCR are so ideally matched in our mission and vision and our programs are so complimentary to our own that we couldn’t have found a better partner to help us realize our vision for performance improvement within the clinical research profession. The potential impact of this agreement is unlimited and we are incredibly excited to be working with such a high-quality and well-respected organization”

Long-term, the collaboration promises to offer a wider range of services focused on competence verification and professional development by combing the expertise and influence both organizations have achieved in their individual specialties and geographical locations.
